The bright orange looked a little intimidating initially, and when I first applied it onto my lids, my first impression was that it made me look like I had been crying all night. But after applying glitter to the centre of my lids, some eyeliner and mascara, it didn't look bad at all! I quite like that it added a pop of colour to my look.
UD x Kristen Leanne Kaleidoscope Dream Eyeshadow Palette, $65
As my colleagues will confirm, I was very unhappy having to do green and blue. I was worried I’d end up looking like best case, a peacock or worst case, a fish from Finding Nemo. The end result was much better and I really liked it! It wasn’t that hard to do (with the help of Pinterest). It added some colour to my outfit which was pretty simple that day. I’d definitely wear it again.

I’ve never been one to shy away from bright pink or red eyeshadow – in fact, for a period of time, red paired with burgundy were my go-to colours – so I was all ready to swipe some pinks onto my lids. The colour I was assigned to try was magenta pink, which I mixed with a touch of coral and light pink for a bit of definition. I didn’t get weird stares from people, and even got a compliment from a colleague! Would I rock this look again? Definitely. Tip: The payoff is way better when you apply using your fingers.

This colour is quite trendy and when combined with cranberry near the lash line, and gold in the centre of the lids, it’s a very wearable colour. I didn’t notice if I got any weird stares from strangers, and would definitely wear it again – but maybe a more smoked out version.
