“As a major beauty addict, I am always on a lookout for new collection launches and items that are on sale. These products have been on my long-standing wish list and I have heard lots of good reviews about them. I’m glad to finally get my hands on them. I chose Kat Von D Lock-It Powder Foundation because of its buildable coverage and velvety smooth finish – my face looks fresh all day long; Zoeva Coral Spectrum Blush Palette for its beautiful and versatile shades which can be mixed and matched to create a variety of blush finishes; and Dr Jart+ face masks which are quite costly but I think the results they give are well worth the money spent. I would use it on the eve of a big event to keep my skin looking bright and clear.”

Where: Sasa Wisma Atria

Budget: $200

Total: $205.50

“When it comes to beauty shopping, I prefer to visit the brick-and-mortar shops as they allow me to test out the actual colours and textures. But I also shop online for products that aren’t available in Singapore. My must-buys include stuff that I use on a daily basis such as SeaNTree UV White Cushion which is essentially a sunblock in cushion form which makes for convenient application, or something fun and frivolous like Demeter Cushion Perfume with the super cute Moomin design. It is handy enough to carry around without weighing on my big bag. I also chose MKUP Love My Brush as I’ve been on a lookout for a tool to wash my brushes with.”

Who: Qi Yun @qiyunz

Where: Guardian Takashimaya S.C.

Budget: $100

Total: $100.32

“I usually look out for new releases as well as products that suit my skin needs. Products with pretty packaging definitely helps with my final decision making. Makeup like eyeshadow palettes and lip products as well as sheet masks are always top on my must-buy list. I’m so excited to get my hands on Physicians Formula which is exclusive to Guardian and it has great products like this Mineral Wear Correcting Powder to help with my skin redness and Palladio eyeshadow palette with its gorgeous deep sea-blue shade. As I’ve not tried Hask, I’m going to treat my bleached and damaged hair with these strengthening and nourishing oils.”
