The couple told CNN that the proposal had happened earlier this month at Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace. The couple was “trying to roast a chicken” when Prince Harry got down on bended knee to pop the question. She told Prince Harry during the interview, “As a matter of fact, I could barely let you finish proposing. I said, ‘Can I say yes now?'”
He added, “There was hugs and I had the ring in my finger. I was like, ‘Can I give you the ring?’ She goes, ‘Oh, yes! The ring!'”
The ring is designed by Prince Harry and adorned with diamonds from his late mother, Princess Diana’s personal collection. Princess Diana’s engagement ring was passed to Kate Middleton when she got engaged to Prince William.
