Swarovski’s Heiress’ Wedding Gown Has 46kg Worth Of Crystals

It must have been really heavy.

Some celebrities shell out a lot of money for their weddings (who can forget Angelababy and Huang Xiaoming’s lavish affair), and it seems Victoria Swarovski is no different.

In fact, the heiress to the crystal producer, Swarovski, might top the list when it comes to extravagant wedding dresses.

The heiress, who is also a singer, got married last week in a bespoke Michael Cinco gown, encrusted with 500,000 crystals. The dress, which reportedly weighs 46kg, is estimated to be worth around £700,000 ($1.2 million).

She paired the gown with a pair of white Jimmy Choos that were adorned with crystal-encrusted accessories.

The singer changed into another dress to perform for her guests. Her choice of stage outfit? A white floor-length evening dress, which was – you guessed it – encrusted with crystals.

She went for a change of colour palette for her third dress, which was an opulent, full-skirted red gown, also designed by Michael Cinco. The short halter neck dress has a long tail, and every part of the dress was covered in red Swarovski crystals.

The wedding was reportedly a three-day affair. And judging by photos posted on various websites, it certainly looks super luxe. And now the question everyone has been wondering: Were Swarovski crystals given as door gifts? Sorry, we don’t have the answer to that.
