J.Avenue is a retail zone on level 2 of JCube. The area houses numerous shops inspired by Korean and Japanese fashion, so you’ll be sure to find some super trendy pieces for your wardrobe. Plus, most of the items are under $30 each!
Take a selfie at JStage
Instagram queens, this is why you’ll love JCube – it’s full of cool backdrops for the ‘Gram! Check out JStage at the rooftop level. The bright yellow backdrop will definitely make your OOTD pop. There are also several selfie stations littered throughout the mall, so you can stand out from the crowd with something a little different.
Eat, drink, and be merry
Need to refuel between shopping sprees? JCube’s got you covered. It has loads of F&B options, so you don’t have to walk very far to satisfy your hunger. If you love grilled or barbecued Japanese food, you have to try Toriki on the fourth floor of JCube. They serve assorted donburis and yakitori done up the old-school way – grilled over binchotan charcoal. We highly recommend you pair those delish grilled meats on sticks with the many craft beers they have in stock. There are plenty of other options available too: there’s Isuramuya Japanese Restaurant, which is halal, and wallet-friendly eateries like Eighteen Chefs and Saizeriya.
Hang out with the cool kids
Need a break while your friends continue shopping? Check out Coffeemin on the second floor. Calling themselves an “anti-café”, Coffeemin is a space where you can work, rest, and refuel. There are books, board games, and even a pool table and Xbox console for you to use; snacks and drinks – including coffee! – are available as well. What’s unique about Coffeemin is that you aren’t charged by the amount of facilities you use or food you consume. Instead, customers are charged on an hourly basis, starting from as low as $6 per hour on weekdays. It’s a great place to rest your feet while waiting for your friends!
Do more cool stuff… like ice skating
Doesn’t matter if it’s summer all year long in Singapore, you can still ice skate, especially when there’s an ice skating rink in JCube. Bust out some of your best #fitspo moves and be sure to upload them on Instagram! Not sure how? Don’t worry, there are other activities you can do on ice. Or better yet, sign up for one of their figure-skating classes! You’ll learn tricks like spins, jumps, and gliding. After mastering the moves, you can grab your girlfriends and sign up for ice dancing or synchronised ice skating together!
JCube is at 2 Jurong East Central 1.
