As if periods aren’t bothersome enough, there are menstrual cramps. Some days they make us want to just curl up and die, and they’re also in addition to how we already feel crappy during the weeks leading up to that time of the month (an insatiable appetite and dip in mood/energy levels aren’t exactly the combo for feeling good about ourselves).
