Meet Rosalina Oktavia. She is a 28-year-old Singapore-based model whose  left leg was amputated in 2015 following a motorbike accident. She revealed in a video released for the campaign that she heard the doctor said he had cut off the wrong vein. After six rounds of surgery, she was advised to amputate her leg.

She thought she would never be able to model again, but she has since taken part in Singapore Fashion Runway in 2017 and joined the charity Models of Diversity.

In a video she did for the I Can Be An Influencer campaign, she revealed how social media had helped her gain confidence. “Before [I used] social media, I felt useless. After using Instagram, I felt more confident about myself.”

Her advice? “Don’t think of what other people think of you. Just be yourself and be confident of yourself.”
