10 Signs You’re a Hoarder (and might need help)

Watching Hoarders is truly one revealing experience. Beyond mortification, there’s often that unwanted feeling that creeps up on you, which goes something like: “OMG, I’m a bit like that too… except I’m not that bad.”  Here are the classic hoarder traits you might recognise in yourself.

5. You have an excuse for everything you buy or take home. “I need this… just because I might have to move to the other end of the world where there’s no convenience store and I just have to dye my hair all sorts of unicorn colours.” Sounds familiar?

7. When someone suggests you organise your mess, you get offended and really defensive like they insulted your mother.

8. Your heartbeat hikes the moment you see a SALE sign, and even when you say you’re not gonna buy anything, you still leave the store with something.

9. You never throw things out, even when they’re broken. “Everything can be fixed.”

At the end of the day, as long as you’re not doing any harm to yourself or the people around you, you continue doing you.
