Here’s How You Can Make A Social Impact With Your Workout

Fitness for good.

You can make the most of your workout in several ways, but you probably didn’t think giving back to the community would be one of them. However, with local fitness group PushPullGive (PPG), it is.

Founded by Razif Yusoff, Herzy Hosini and Konrad Haedicke, PPG provides free fitness classes and monetary support to beneficiaries such as HCSA Dayspring, Muhammadiyah Welfare Home and Babes — all of which help underprivileged or marginalised children and youths. They’ve also used a portion of their earnings for renovation work for Tiny Toones, a youth centre in Phnom Penh.

“Our passion to work out brought us together. Given our will to also give back to society through fitness, we started to plan PushPullGive end of last year,” Konrad tells CLEO.

Want to help support their cause? You can check out their packages here. Yoga, bootcamp, hip hop and calisthenics classes are available, so you can be sure you’ll experience a variety of workouts.

If you don’t exercise but are looking to start, Konrad has this to say to you: “I myself converted to the fitness lifestyle about a year ago and must say that it really transformed my life. I can firmly say that leaving your comfort zone is the very first step, because nothing ever grows there.”

Shape up and give back to the community at the same time? Sounds like a great bandwagon to jump on. Visit PPG for more information.
