Foundation is awesome on its own (some work perfectly well even without finishing powder), but here’s how to take that awesomeness to the next level.
1. With primer
If the coverage of your foundation is too heavy for your liking, mix it with a bit of primer for a sheerer coverage.
2. With moisturiser
Create your own tinted moisturiser by mixing your foundation with moisturiser. Adding in just a tiny bit of moisturiser can lighten the colour of your foundation (if you bought in the wrong shade) while retaining its coverage.
3. With bronzer
Is your foundation shade too light for you? Mix with a bit of bronzer to darken it.
4. With highlighter
You can either crush powder highlighter or use liquid ones to mix with the foundation to get that instant glow.
5. With oil control moisturiser
Avoid looking like an oil slick by the end of the day by mixing a dollop of oil-control moisturiser with the foundation.
6. With foundation
Mix two different tones of foundation to get the right shade. And here’s a cheat for easy contouring: Apply darker foundation towards the edge of your face, and lighter foundation in the middle part, and blend using a large brush.
