The sun has been beating down rather mercilessly these days so I hope you are doing something to protect yourself. We all know how damaging the sun can be to our skin. In fact, according to Skin Cancer Foundation, 90 percent of visible changes attributed to skin ageing are caused by the sun. These changes include a dull and uneven skin tone and pigmentation. Seriously, pigmentation along with wrinkles are really hard or take time to repair though not impossible so my advice is to prevent before the damage is done. So for me, I never leave the house without first applying sunscreen (and be sure it’s a sufficient amount of at least a half teaspoon to each arm and the face, and a full teaspoon for the larger areas like each leg, the chest and back) and a brollie in my bag (useful for both rain and sunshine).
