Fresh Soy Face Cleanser, $63
I use this as my second cleanse at night to remove any remaining dirt and impurities and sometimes, even in the morning. It’s extremely gentle, and doesn’t strip skin of its natural oils to leave it feeling dry or uncomfortable. It's not surprising, then, that I run out of this on the regular. The sale is the perfect time to stock up.
Tatcha The Silk Canvas, $72
When I know I’m going to have a very long day, I’ll always use primer to give my makeup extra staying power. This one comes highly recommended by, like, everyone on the Internet. So of course I have to try it.
Huda Beauty Rose Gold Remastered Palette, $100
I absolutely love Huda Beauty eyeshadows. I have the original Rose Gold palette, so why would I pass up the chance to get the Remastered Palette? Especially when it’s on 20 per cent off. I’m actually saving money.
Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II, $175
When it comes to skincare, I’m all about prevention rather than cure, and this cult-favourite is a regular feature in my skincare routine. It reduces stress on the skin that stems from lack of sleep and external aggressors to keep my skin hydrated and bright.
Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Tea Tree Scalp Treatment, $47
The key to healthy, glossy hair is a healthy scalp. And this scalp treatment is supposed to draw out impurities, soothe inflammation, tackle itchiness from dryness and generally keep your scalp in good condition to promote hair growth.
Ouai Rose Hair & Body Oil, $48
There are few reasons this made it to my list: 1. It smells great, not too sweet which is perfect; 2. It’s a multipurpose product, so it cuts down the number of products I have to carry when I’m travelling, and 3. At 98.9ml, it meets the 100ml limit for liquid items in cabin luggage (by 1.1ml, no less) . Oh did I mention it was 20 percent off?
Sephora Collection Pro Brush Flawless Air #56, $46
Brushes are an essential part of my makeup process and I consider them an investment. Sales like the Sephora Black and Gold are the best time to snap up good brushes for less.
Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream, $99
Think of it as the cream version of the beloved Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist—which I love. The hefty price tag can be a bit of a deterrent though, so I calculate how many times I’m going to use this—duh, every day—which brings down the cost per use. Then I factor in the discount, and voila, we have a winner.
Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain in Always Red, $19
You can never have too many red lipsticks and this one comes highly recommended by beauty insiders for its ability to stay on without drying out lips. *Adds to cart*
Farsali Skintune Blur Serum, $79
The impulse buy. I have never tried anything from this brand before and decided to get the newly launched Skintune Blur Serum on sale because my skin is a little less than perfect at the moment and I could use a blurring primer. Whether it actually lives up to its claims remains to be seen.
