We often put in a lot of effort in caring for our face and hands, yet neglect one of the most overworked parts of our body—the feet. Pamper them with some TLC with these easy steps.

1. Bathe
Soak your feet in a tub of warm water with bath salts or a few drops of essential oil. This provides instant relief for tired feet. You can also give your feet a milk bath for that dose of moisture.

2. Exfoliate
Concoct your own scrub using Epsom salt or brown sugar as a base and exfoliate once a week to get rid of dead skin cells and dirt buildup.

3. Moisturise
Slather on a generous amount of foot cream daily, especially before you go to bed. Foot cream to your gams is what moisturiser is to your face.

4. Mask
Either put on one of those foot masks from pharmacies, or wrap your feet in warm towel to soften your skin. You can also wear socks overnight to ensure the goodness of the cream is absorbed into your feet.

5. Trim
Ensure that you trim your nails regularly, especially if you often wear covered shoes. This prevents ingrown or broken nails.

6. Clean
Use a cuticle stick to dig out the dirt from the sides and under your nails. It might sound a tad disgusting but it’ll help with the bacteria and infection control.
