In my current skincare routine, sheet masks are a once- or twice-weekly affair. But with glass skin being everyone’s current K-beauty obsession, I wondered if increasing my sheet masking frequency would help me achieve that poreless, dewy complexion.
More from CLEO:
Following in Fan Bing Bing’s footsteps, I decided to double-fist my sheet masks. The actress reportedly applies AT LEAST two sheet masks a day (“one for moisturising and one for whitening”), and has been photographed wearing sheet masks out of the house – even signing autographs in public with a sheet mask on like it’s no big deal.
That said, this routine might not be suitable for everyone. Because I have oily skin and my pores tend to get clogged really easily, my biggest worry is that daily masking might be too much for my skin to handle.
CLEO’s beauty editor Smita suggested that I use a moisturising face mask in the morning – which will help to prime my skin for makeup as well – followed by a pore-minimising mask at night. Scroll through the gallery below to see the results.
