Chanel has done it. Gucci has done it. So, obviously, it’s only a matter of time before Prada also does it. What do we mean? Launching a beauty line, of course. Or rather, the recent news of the luxury brand signing an agreement with L’Oreal points at that possibility.
Prada recently chose not to renew its perfume license with Puig, whom they have worked with since 2003.
Patrizio Bertelli, CEO of Prada said in a statement, “L’Oréal is the leading global beauty company. Its position and experience makes it the ideal partner for Prada to develop its full potential across a variety of new projects, leverage Prada’s well-established fragrance identity and reach even more audiences around the world.”
Seeing how Prada’s fragrances range from candy-themed to luxe, we reckon the beauty line will be as diverse. And we hope they’ll have lipstick shades that are similar to their saffiano leather shades, namely the red, bright pink and orange.
