Travelling to new places is exciting and exhilarating to say the least, but getting there (all those hours in the plane) change of climate and water can take a toll on you and your skin. We’ve listed a few products that keep us looking and feeling good while we travel.

Skin Inc Deep Sea Hydrating Mask, $119
“My skin can act up sometimes when it’s too hot or too cold, and when that happens, I use this as a sleeping mask. Most of the time, my skin clears up the next day.”
Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence, $18.90
“I always wear sunscreen and I find that this works well for me in both hot and cold climates, dry or humid weather, hence its place as a holiday staple. Plus, there’s no white residue even if I perspire, get snowed on, or jump into the ocean.”
Laneige Sleeping Mask, $42
“This is so, so good for when your skin gets dehydrated on the plane. And it doesn’t scare small children, unlike sheet masks.”
Jorubi Aloe Vera Gel, 19.80
“I can’t go anywhere without some good old Jorubi Aloe Vera Gel. It not only reduces inflammation (which my skin is prone to), but also moisturises and treats sunburn (which happens a lot on a holiday).”
Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm, $20
I’ll always have a tinted lip balm in my bag when I travel. It’s a convenient way to keep my lips moisturised and add a touch of colour as the same time.
Merci Encore Gently, Gently Blend, $35
This is a mix of essential oils with this gorgeous orangey scent. I put a few drops on the shower floor and the hot water releases the fragrance and after showering I put a few drops on my skin, which acts as a scented moisturiser. It’s my current favourite ritual at home and when on vacay!”
MAC Cosmetics Retro Matte Liquid Lip Colour in Fashion Legacy, $39
“Along with my skincare products, sunscreen and other makeup, I’ll always pack a bright red lipstick. Applying a bright colour means I don’t have to apply too much other makeup and it makes your face look good in holiday pictures. This one is long-wearing, doesn’t flake or dry out lips.”
