Most people don’t bat an eyelid when told to wear red on their lips, but throw in a vampy red or even dark purple option and they’ll start backing off.
Dark lipsticks might seem hard to apply and pull off, but they really aren’t as intimidating as they seem.
In fact, we just found a way to make it more wearable: By feathering the edges.
Another trick to pulling this off like models on the runway is by ensuring that you apply the colour on the inner part of your lips, so people won’t be able to see a stark contrast between your natural lip colour and lipstick colour as you speak. Remember, you’re not going for the gradation effect.
