1. Farmart Centre
Farmart Centre is a rustic and charming spot tucked away from the bustle of city life, and it’s just the place to go to if you like interacting with the animals up close. It houses animals such as goats, bull frogs, tortoises, rabbits and birds and provides feeding opportunities and farm tours.

2. Chek Jawa Wetlands
Chek Jawa is a rustic island off the coast of mainland Singapore and is situated on the east of Pulau Ubin. The wetland contains one of Singapore’s richest ecosystems and teems with wildlife, so you’ll get to see animals that reside in mangroves and coastal forests. Guided tours are available but you can also rent a bicycle and enjoy the views at a more leisurely pace.

3. Gallop Stable
Gallop Stable not only offers horse rides, but also trail rides and pony rides. The best part? They also offer horse riding lessons and event packages — so you know where to throw your next birthday party.

4. The Animal Resort
Located at Seletar West Farmway, The Animal Resort is a small zoo surrounded by lush greenery and koi fishing farms. Also known as Singapore’s Kampung Zoo, it allows you to have a hands-on experience with feathered and furry friends — something you won’t experience at the bigger zoological parks. Expect to get up close with various species of rabbits, fishes, turtles, guinea pigs and birds at the resort. Admission is free and don’t forget your mosquito repellent!
