Love can happen everywhere – even when you’re working. You’ve heard of office romances, so for celebrities whose offices are film and drama sets, it’s not surprising that love blooms there for them.
We’ve seen it happen with Hollywood celebrities as well as Korean stars, and in Hong Kong, the same holds true for TVB actors. Here are couples who fell in love on set.
Tavia Yeung and Him Law
The couple met on the set of The Hippocratic Crush, where she played the role of one of his mentors. A year later, they were caught in a “car shaking” scandal, in which Tavia was spotted having her head in Him’s lap in his car, leading to speculations that the two were behaving intimately. They evaded dating questions for a while before holding a joint press conference to confirm that they were dating. They tied the knot in 2016.

Aimee Chan and Moses Chan
The two met on the set of Master of Play in 2010 and although rumours were rife that the pair were dating, it was only in 2011 that the couple confirmed the validity of the rumours. In the same year, they filmed a drama together, The Last Steep Ascent, but did not play a couple. They got married in Paris in 2013.

Kevin Cheng and Grace Chan
In 2015, Grace met Kevin on the set of Blue Veins. However, prior to that, she admitted to The Straits Times that she hadn’t watched any of his shows: “This is embarrassing, but I have never seen any of his dramas before and this is a guy who has done some really famous dramas.” Rumours of them dating made headlines not just because he’s an A-lister, but because of their 22-year age gap. The couple proved that age was just a number and got married in Bali this year.

Edwin Siu and Priscilla Wong
Edwin and Priscilla filmed Madam Cutie On Duty together in 2014, in which they acted as a couple, but it wasn’t until filming wrapped up that they became a real-life couple. Although they tried to keep their relationship low-key, they were caught on a beach date by the paparazzi. In 2016, they reunited on-screen to play a married couple in Two Steps from Heaven.

Kenneth Ma and Jacqueline Wong
The couple met while filming Inspector Gourmet in 2016 and reportedly started dating after that. The couple seems to be happily dating, and earlier this year, Jacqueline even told a local news outlet of Kenneth’s romantic ways. She said, “I can’t say that he’s not romantic; instead, he’s a different kind of romantic. I won’t say what exactly, but he’s prepared surprises for me.” There are rumours of them tying the knot after Ruco Chan.
