Kim Woo Bin And Other K-Celebs With Serious Health Issues
Yesterday, news of Kim Woo Bin being diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer broke the internet. The 27-year-old actor is said to be in the early stages of the illness and is seeking treatment. News of his diagnosis came months after veteran actress Kim Young Ae succumbed to pancreatic cancer.
Woo Bin’s news came out of left field, but he’s not the only celebrity who was recently diagnosed with a serious medical condition. From Yoo Ah In to Jung Il Woo, here are some celebrities who have battled serious medical conditions of their own.

Kim Woo Bin
The actor was recently diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer, a rare type of head and neck cancer. He is currently undergoing treatment through medication and radiation therapy.
Jung Il Woo
Last year, the actor was diagnosed with cerebral aneurysm, a condition that causes the wall of the artery or vein in the cerebral to weaken. However, the actor refused to be exempted from military service and is currently serving as a public service worker.

Yoo Ah In
During a checkup done for his military enlistment, it was found that the actor has bone tumour. His agency refused to comment further after acknowledging the diagnosis, but a source told Korean media that the tumour is benign.

Park Haejin’s anxiety and depression resulted in him being deferred from fulfilling the mandatory two-year military enlistment.
