K-pop boy band 24K, who is currently on their European tour, shocked fans when they announced through Twitter that two of the members, Hongseob and Jinhong, had their personal belongings stolen from their hotel room in France.

The thief took Hongseob and Jinhong’s mobile phones, alongside Hongseob’s orange fanny pack that contained his passport and wallet.

The group appealed for fans’ help on their official Twitter account, revealing that their items had been stolen between 2am and 7am, and included a photo of Hongseob’s bag so fans could send them a direct message if they knew where the bag was.

In a previous tweet, they clarified that there are no CCTVs in the hotel and surrounding streets – the only evidence they had was a pair of gloves that the thief left behind.

They also cautioned fans against believing anything that goes up on their social media accounts since the thief would have access to those accounts through the stolen phones.

Despite the incident, the group trudged on with their European tour and arrived in Prague half a day later. The two members assured fans that they were safe. Hongseob said through a video, “There was an unfortunate incident in France, but thanks to the support of the staff and fans, we could complete our work calmly.”

The group started their European tour on August 3 and will be visiting seven cities as part of the tour.
