Eddy Kim’s surprise song
Eddy, who dazzled the crowd with his smooth vocals, was a man of surprises. After the emcee announced that Eddy would be performing the last two tracks of his setlist, the singer proceeded to surprise fans with a cover of Eric Benet’s “Be Myself Again”. “They didn’t know I was going to do this song,” he said.
Red Velvet's amazing choreography
Back in Singapore for the second time in three months, the quintet tirelessly executed their complex choreography throughout their five-song set, which included their latest track “Peek-A-Boo”. Irene shared, “The previous time we came to Singapore, we performed here [at Suntec City Convention Hall] as well, so we’re very happy to be back.”
Red Velvet’s beauty tips
Wendy: A lip tint, a blusher and eyebrow pencil.
Seulgi: I don’t bring a lot of things in my makeup bag, but if I were to choose a must-have, it would be a copper-coloured lip colour because I’m into [that colour] nowadays.
Irene: I always carry around body lotion.
Yeri: I always bring around musk-scented perfume.
Joy: I always have a red lipstick and a perfume.
SHINee’s ace performance
They may be a man down (leader and vocalist Onew was absent) but the K-pop boy band proved their mettle by pulling it off effortlessly. The group started their six-song set with hit song “View” to the legions of screaming Shawols (the group’s fans), who turned the arena into a sea of pearl aqua lights.
SHINee's powerhouse vocals
As expected, the group didn't disappoint by singing live for the show, highlighting that they're more than just good-looking idols.
SHINee's amazing teamwork
The members also took turns to cover Onew's parts to make the performances look as complete as they could. But what we were most impressed with was rapper Minho's vocal prowess on "An Encore" when he sang Onew's lines.
