Guess The Number Of Calories In Your Favourite Junk Food

Junk food – the one-stop solution for busy days and late-night cravings. As much as these comfort treats may give you temporary bliss, overindulging can lead to serious health issues.

Junk food is often categorised as food that are high in calories and low in nutrients. Consuming more calories than your body can burn exerts more stress on your body, which increases your risk of being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, heart disease or cancer.

The International Diabetes Federation reported that Singapore is ranked second for the highest proportion of diabetics among developed nations, with 12 per cent of the population suffering from pre-diabetes. Out of this percentage, one-third runs a high risk of being diabetic.

So before you reach out for that bag of chips or chocolate bar, know how much calories you’re actually consuming.
