Be sure to check it out.

Let’s admit it: Jurong has become quite the place to hang out at on weekends. Yes, it’s pretty far from where most of us are, but it’s got at least five malls in the area, which means you can pretty much shop your Saturday away.

And if you ever find yourself at JCube, otherwise known as the Bugis Street of Jurong East, you’ve got to check out the recently-opened #PlayatJCube. It’s a self-service lifestyle zone with vending machines that offer everything from hot food to even clothing.

The best part? The zone is cashless, so you don’t have to dig for coins and can instead payWave or FlashPay your way through.

There are also on-site karaoke booths! Going to sing K, then grabbing a bite immediately after, doesn’t sound like a bad idea at all for a weekend plan, especially when it’s all really affordable — prices range from $3.50 to $7 for food, and $3.99 to $16.99 for some KTV.
