Fried chicken enthusiasts, this is what you’ve been waiting for: Popular South Korean fast-food chain Mom’s Touch has finally opened their doors here in Singapore. Easties will be especially delighted to know that the new store is located on the first floor of Paya Lebar Quarter, right opposite Paya Lebar MRT station. You can’t miss it – the store’s alfresco seating area stretches across the square, allowing for plenty of natural lighting that’s perfect for getting those IG-worthy photos.

Having spawned over 1,200 stores across South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam and the USA, the brand is best known for their crispy fried chicken and thick, juicy burgers. But that’s not all, the store offers an impressive menu featuring over 40 items (many of them being smash-hits in South Korea), leaving customers completely spoilt for choice.

Must-try items for chicken lovers include: Mom’s Touch Fried Chicken ($3.60) which is available in both original and spicy flavours, as well as Mom’s Touch Spicy Sauce Chicken ($3.80).

We particularly enjoyed the Mom’s Touch Spicy Sauce Chicken, which was generously covered in an even layer of signature homemade sauce. Striking the right balance between sweet, sour and spicy, each bite of juicy, piping hot chicken is accompanied by light and crunchy skin.

More of a burger person? Mom’s Thigh Burger ($5.70) includes fresh lettuce, onions, pickles, a fried chicken thigh and is topped with a homemade Burger Sauce – talk about satisfying all our lunch cravings! Other tempting burger options include the Cheese Bacon Burger ($7), Bulgalbi Chicken Burger ($5.70) and Deep Cheese Burger ($6.30).

Aside from mains, diners can choose to complete their meal with a range of tasty sides. The Cajun Fries ($2.60 for Small, $3.40 for Large), fried Sweet Potato Bites ($3.80) and Popcorn Chicken ($3.80) are great options for customers of all ages and excellent for sharing with friends and family.

Finish off your meal with a unique dessert like the Black Sesame Sundae ($3.80) or wash it all down with a refreshing beverage. We especially loved the whimsical and Instagrammable presentation of Raspberry Melon Ade’s ($3.80) melon-flavour boba, which bursts in your mouth and perfectly complements the drink’s raspberry soda base.
