If you want to get the best selfie without paying a fortune to head up to some mountain or enter an expensive museum, here are a few places in Europe you can consider visiting instead. So before you spend another dime riding a funicular to see views of your favourite European city, check out these great locations – all offering amazing 360-degree views of iconic European cities (which you can snap along with your gorgeous mug).

In Nice, France, head to MAMAC (Musée d’Art Moderne et d’Art Contemporain). This modern art museum is not only free, giving you access to some of the most iconic contemporary artworks in the world, but also has a great view of the city on the rooftop.
In Florence, Italy, Piazzale Michelangelo has some of the most breathtaking views of the Renaissance city. Just 20 minutes from the city centre by foot, it’s the perfect place to catch the Italian sunset.
Fisherman's Bastion, Budapest
In Budapest, put on some comfy shoes and walk over to Fisherman’s
Bastion. Located on the “Buda” half of the Hungarian capital, the views from the top are picture perfect.
In Dublin, Howth is one of the most-visited suburbs thanks to its claim
to fame – fish and chips. But make sure you walk up to Howth Head and reach the scenic summit, where you’ll be rewarded with great views of Ireland’s Eye, a small island which is also a bird sanctuary.
In Berlin, make sure you jump online and register to visit the Reichstag Building. Completely free, the glass building is home to the Bundestag (German parliament). Visit the iconic building for the rooftop restaurant and stunning views of the city.
