In a study conducted by and presented in the Journal of Happiness (yes, it’s a thing), one’s health and wellbeing, rapidly improves from Day 1 to Day 4 of a vacation and peaks around Day 8. Therefore we can assume an eight-day holiday would be the best amount of time to get the most out of it (health and wellbeing were analysed by sleep results, happiness, stress levels etc.).
