National Day Parade (NDP) is coming up next week which means… fireworks! Every year, we await the visual spectacle that lights up the night sky to commemorate Singapore’s birthday and this year is no different. This year’s NDP is held at the Padang and while there are a few fireworks at Padang itself, the main show happens along Singapore River, particularly in front of the Asian Civilisations Museum, to commemorate the river’s significance.
Don’t want to venture there because of traffic? There are still a few spots in Singapore where you can view the fireworks. Scroll through the gallery to see where you can view this dramatic spectacle, whether you’re a fireworks enthusiast on a budget, or if you simply prefer a more unique experience that doesn’t involve jostling with the crowd.
