While fast fashion is still an easy and quick resource when it comes to shopping, not only is it not the most sustainable option when it comes to shopping, you run the chance of having the same outfit as your friends and hundreds of people all over the world. Not the most ideal when you’re trying to set yourself apart in this increasingly fashion-conscious world. So when local multi-label boutique Club21 Forum announced that they would be bringing Scandinavian street-style favourite Ganni, we couldn’t be more excited.
Started by husband-and-wife duo Ditte and Nicolaj Reffstrup a decade ago, the Danish brand is already a massive success within the fashion insiders’ crowd and can be frequently spotted on your favourite fashion influencers on Instagram and at Fashion Week. While the line is known for their interesting cuts and silhouettes—as well as their bold choice of textures and prints—it is not a brand that chase trends, making the clothes timeless pieces worth investing in. It’s also a welcome respite from all the Insta Baddie brands out there (like PrettyLittleThing and Fashion Nova) and is a great option for girls who aren’t your typical OLs but aren’t streetwear loving hypebaes either.
But it’s not just the effortlessly cool Scandi-chic designs that’s got us salivating—it’s the price point. It hits that sweet spot between high street and contemporary level designers, with their clothing mostly priced between $150 to $600, with dressier pieces and leather shoes and bags going up to the $800 price range. This ensures the brand remains affordable whilst feeling luxe at the same time.
While we could continue to wax lyrical about our new favourite brand, it might be much easier to show you just why we love it so much. Scroll through for some of our favourite pieces from their upcoming Pre-Fall’19 collection.
