Remember when you braved the crowd to get your hands on the pieces from UNIQLO AND LEMAIRE collection? Now you no longer have to do that because every – or almost every – UNIQLO product will be designed by Christophe Lemaire.
The former Artistic Director of Hermes has been appointed the same role at the Paris R&D Center of the Japanese clothing company.
His pieces from Hermes and UNIQLO AND LEMAIRE are known to be simple and minimalist, which fits perfectly with UNIQLO’s no-frills style.

The first collection that the designer worked on is the new Uniqlo U line, which will be launched in the Fall/Winter 2016 season. However, the collection will be unveiled in early July in Paris since Lemaire’s Paris team created the pieces in the brand’s R&D Center in that city.
July, when will you come? Also, is this why the UNIQLO AND LEMAIRE collection that was launched earlier this year was the last one ever?
