Loved the first Alexander Wang collection with UNIQLO? As someone who has one of the HEATTECH tops, I’d tell you that it kept me warm in Ireland’s winter although it appears thinner compared to some of UNIQLO’s HEATTECH pieces. So naturally when UNIQLO announced that it would be collaborating with the designer again, I was stoked. And I’m sure you are too.

This time round, the Japanese apparel brand and the American-Taiwanese designer will be putting out a line of AIRism products. For those who are less familiar, AIRism is a fabric that is perfect for Singapore’s hot weather. It wicks sweat away to cool your body down and makes for some of the most comfortable innerwear.

Alexander was quoted in the press release, saying, “Working with UNIQLO on the second season of the collaboration felt like there was a mutual understanding of not only aesthetics but of each other’s work ethic. It was easier coming together this time round to accomplish a similar goal from various touch-points. Innovation has always been at the forefront of our design and creative process, and functionality serves a huge purpose in the way our customers and I dress. Therefore, through the influence of innovation, technology and functionality, this special AIRism collection was born.”
