Golden Globes is happening right now, but we’re still not over the red carpet. It not only boasted so many gorgeous looks, but also saw some of our favourite Asians flaunting their style. From fairytale-inspired gowns to nude looks, here are the best-dressed celebs today.
What do you do when it’s cold and you still have to impress in your Monique Lhuillier gown? You wear jeans underneath, like Jameela did.
The Golden Globes host wore a Versace with subtle pink beading. Her stylist says the look is “strong” and honestly, that sounds just like Sandra.
Are we missing the Cinderella dress code? Alison stuns with a blue Vera Wang gown. She almost got into a little wardrobe accident, but her husband, Dave Franco, suavely came to her rescue.
Whoa. That was legit our reaction when we first saw Penelope’s Ralph & Russo dress. She looks stunning and is one of our top picks of Best Dressed.
We’re not sure about how to feel about this dress. We love the bottom half, but not quite the top half.
This is another one we’re on the fence about—it’s pretty but it looks like she draped on excess cloth around a romper. It’s a Valentino Haute Couture, btw.
When has Emily ever looked bad on the red carpet? We think never. The Mary Poppins star looked amazing in this Alexander McQueen lace number.
We love the icy blue tone of this Armani Privé strapless gown, which complements Dakota’s skin tone.
This backless Amen number is clearly a winner. It’s sexy, elegant and looks regal. Our only gripe are the sleeves that looked too long for Kristin.
This gown looks amazing, but probably too close in shade to the red carpet. Still amazing, though.
We don’t know where to look—her dress or her makeup because both look amazing. She complemented her royal blue dress with a pair of sparky earrings to make her look like royalty.
This is a nude dress done right—the actress wows in a custom Dior that makes her look like a queen.
Wow, Halle’s dress is SHEER. The Zuhair Murad dress low-key looks like it’s made up of lace ribbons sewn together to make up the width, but we’re not hating it.
We half-expected her to turn up in her Aquaman swim cap but alas, this is the Golden Globes. We love how the gown is simple but OTT at the same time.
Emma always go for simple outfits, and this year is no different. This year, she opted for this belted sequinned nude number.
We can totally imagine this custom Gucci dress on any of the Kardashians. That said, Saoirse looks stunning in this metallic number.
Trust Lady Gaga to go for the most dramatic dress. The singer-actress rocked a Cinderalla-esque Valentino gown—and a matching blue ‘do.
Here’s another smart way to keep out the cold: Make sure your jacket is sparkly AF so you can drape it over your shoulders like it’s part of your outfit though you’re really trying to just keep warm.
She’s pretty much a style chameleon, and she doesn’t disappoint in this bold leopard-print Elie Saab dress.
She looks like a queen who’s also a warrior, and we’re totally loving this look. Question though: How heavy is this outfit?
If you follow Kristen on Instagram, you’d know the back story to this dress—like how the Spanx is part of the outfit (LOL) and how she put her hand in a bucket of ice to shrink it to fit her accessories. Do not try this at home.
