If you’ve been wanting to get your hands on something from high street label Off-White but have been wondering what you should get, here’s an idea: invest in something you’d wear every day – like sneakers.
While we wouldn’t mind shelling out a thousand dollars on designer shoes that we can show off daily when we get our bonus, the said bonus, unfortunately, only comes once a year and we’re not even in November. But the good news is, Converse is collaborating with Off-White for a pair of sneakers and the sneakers – available at a pretty affordable price – will be dropping soon.
Marrying the iconic Converse Chuck Taylor 70 with Off-White’s signature design elements.
While Virgil Abloh (the man behind Off-White) retain the original Chuck Taylor emblem, he added his brand’s signature black-and-white warning stripes.
And no Off-White shoe is complete without the brand’s iconic zip tie. Instead of their usual red, he went with orange for this collab.
Unlike the typical Off-White leather sneakers, these, like most Converse sneakers, are made of canvas. And, of course, it comes in white and accented with a pop of orange on the soles.
OK, now hold your breath and get your calendar out to mark this important date: October 9. That’s when the collection drops in Singapore.
The sneakers will retail for $209.90 and will be available at Limited Edt Vault and Dover Street Market Singapore.
