Some people are born with a silver spoon in their mouths, while others work hard for it. And for some, a combo of hard work and luck does wonders. These four girls might have had their lucky break, but there’s no denying that they’ve put in unimaginable effort to secure their positions. And they’re definitely not the type to rest on their laurels. Which is why they’re deserving of the It Girls title.
Where It Girls are mentioned, one simply cannot leave out this Italian blogger/fashion designer. Chiara Ferragni started her blog in 2011 and in just four years, she has achieved what most bloggers haven’t. Apart from clinching several awards for her blog, The Blonde Salad, she has also published an ebook, collaborated with fashion brands and even launched her own label. As if that’s not enough to make you go “wow”, she’s also the first blogger to ever grace a Vogue cover! Major envy.
Blogger, writer, stylist and law student Margaret Zhang. The Australian blogger has much for us to envy about (this seems to be turning into an envy fest, our bad). Who wouldn’t go green-eyed seeing her pose with Miranda Kerr? When she’s not studying or blogging, she also styles fashion spreads for magazines.
Andrea Chong is leading the life that we want, from jet-setting for fashion weeks and vacays to appearing in magazine spreads. And what got us wondering is, how does she always look so impeccable in her photos? Even with the wind blowing unforgivingly as she posed on a boat. Yup, defo an It Girl.
Sandra Riley Tang
One-quarter of The Sam Willows, Sandra Riley Tang is our very own superstar. She’s proof that a woman can multi-task and excel in all aspects. When she’s not playing with the band, she’s dabbling in visual arts and managing her yoga studio (she teaches classes too!). #idontknowhowshedoesit
