We may be living in a time of female empowerment, but according to a survey by Confi, a digital health startup founded at Harvard Business School, some men still have pretty disturbing expectations from us when it comes to sex.
This may partly explain why so many sexual misconduct allegations have surfaced over the past few months, though as we now know more than ever, any form of intimacy that isn’t consensual is never OK. So just because you’re alone with a guy at his house doesn’t mean you have to kiss him or take your pants off. Unless you want to, of couse.
“It’s especially problematic that someone might have a skewed perception or make assumptions about the expectations of the person they are going home with,” said Rachel Hanebutt, a co-founder of Confi, to Bustle.
They survey about sexual expectations and beliefs was conducted among 1,200 people between the ages of 18 to 25 and you can scroll the gallery to check out the key findings. What do you think about them?
