Let’s face it – most of us can’t afford the items that our favourite Korean stars usually wear. Do we want to splurge thousands of dollars on a T-shirt that oppa used? Not really.
But if it’s an item that you can wear every day and is relatively affordable, why not?
This is why EXO fans should be psyched for this news: EXO is the face of Skecher’s new shoes, D’LITES 2 Flow Rider.
That’s not all – here’s something better: the shoes are made for men and women. After all, what’s the point of owning a piece of menswear that you can’t use, right?
Like its predecessor D’LITES, the new D’LITES 2 Flow Rider keep things simple with wavy accents on the side, while keeping the more intricate designs on the outsoles. This update, however, sees the use of retro-reflective material on the heel.
We expect this range to be as comfy as other Skechers shoes, given that they are equipped with Air-Cooled Memory Foam insole, which is one of the most comfortable insoles we’ve ever tried. What this means for EXO fans: you can stand and dance without discomfort for the whole duration of their concert.
Apart from the usual lace-up, the range also boasts a Velcro design, which is perfect for the lazy fashionista.
The ad campaign sees the participation of seven out of nine members.
A Korean fan had sent a Direct Message to Skechers Korea through social media, asking why the two members, D.O. and Lay, didn’t participate, and were allegedly told that the former had a conflicting schedule and couldn’t take part in filming, while the latter is already fronting another shoe brand in China.
The shoes will be available worldwide from September 15, 2016 onwards, and will retail for $129 at all Skechers concept stores. They’ll come in sizes 5 to 11.
