We absolutely adore sneakers. They’re so versatile and goes with almost every outfit (they could go with cocktail dresses too if you’re brave enough to pull it off).
So we daresay that there are few things that are better than sneakers. One of them is sneaker collaborations.
Some of the brands we love decided to up their game with awesome collabos with not only designers, but also other brands. Here are five we love.
1. Gola x Cath Kidston
If floral prints are your thing, you’d love this special edition trainers that puts a feminine spin to your outfits. You can leave your ballet pumps in your shoe cabinet from now on.
2. Vault by Vans x Takashi Murakami
What’s there not to love about Takashi Murakami’s designs? We love the whimsical art that the Japanese designer is best known for on any wearables, even these Vans shoes. The collection is expected to be in Singapore soon. Meanwhile, check out their Disney collaboration.
3. Comme des Garçons Play x Converse
The collection isn’t new, but blimey, it doesn’t get old. We absolutely adore the heart prints (the brand’s logo) on the canvas shoes brand that we grew up with.
4. Superga / Rodarte
Mesh, embossed leather snakeskin and denim. And you thought sneakers couldn’t get any better than canvas. Unlike most collaborations, the designs for this collection are pretty clean and simple, unlike Rodarte’s usual extravagant footwear.
5. Nike x Riccardo Tisci
Oh yes! We absolutely adore this whole collection. Unfortunately, the sneaks are sold out at most stores, but we reckon you could get second-hand ones if you wanna lay your hands on these babies.
