I like to be comfortable and I’d heard it was quite cold at National Gallery so I picked out these high-waisted pants from Topshop. I wore them with my trusty Louboutin pumps, a bomber from Hong Kong brand Grana (love their stuff too) and a pair of Versace shades I got from my sister.
So after learning it was not actually cold at National Gallery I opted for something more breezy. This Finders Keepers romper I got from Style Theory was super comfortable and I brought a floral Zara blazer along (just in case). I just rediscovered this fluorescent Cambridge satchel I’ve had for ages and I accessorised with jewellery from local brand Alt and Versus Versace.
I often wear black dresses, but I usually go for A-line dresses because of my hips. This Harrison + Draper Zohra Lace Dress from Style Theory was a little out of my comfort zone as it was straight-cut and I’m glad I did as I think it really worked! Because I can’t balance myself on heels, my trusty Converse sneakers were an obvious choice but I paired the outfit with a Givenchy bag.

A lot of people in the office were shocked by my choice of dress – I was shocked too. It’s so “girly”, they told me. But I really liked the colour of the Coast Sophie Printed Midi Dress from Style Theory. Some people told me I should wear this look more often. I would… if I had more weddings to attend. I paired this look with H&M Ballet flats and my Chanel GST (ahem, that’s Grand Shopping Tote).

As soon as I saw this Topshop black denim skirt I fell in love, it was super comfortable and easy to wear. I paired it with a low back bodysuit from H&M. I kept accessories to a minimum, opting for a simple pair of gold hoops from Whistles and a mini cross body bag from Sandro – it still fit my iPhone 8 Plus so worked perfectly. Finally, I added a pair of block heels from Topshop for extra height.
Firstly apologies for the toilet selfie! I totally forgot to take a photo so had to take one in the bathroom at an after-party, ooops! I basically based my outfit around this Sandro checked blazer. This Maje leather skirt is a favourite of mine and a silk black tee from AllSaints finished the look! I am obsessed with Mulberry, so for a pop of colour I added this cute mustard yellow number and opted for a pair of Aldo heels.
