Kendall Jenner shocked the world when she deactivated her Instagram account recently. Reports alleged that the Keeping up With the Kardashians star had done so after her appearance as a ballerina in a video attracted negative comments.
Naysayers have been bombarding the model’s social media account with nasty remarks, calling her out for “appropriation”, but it’s unclear if that’s the real reason why she left Instagram.
While we don’t know if her departure from the platform is a temporary one until the scandal dies down, or if she’s gone for good, she’s not the first celebrity who has deactivated her social media account.
The model has been updating her followers about her life, family and career through her Instagram account. At one point, she had the most-liked photo on Instagram – the one of her creating hearts around her head with her hair.
