You would have seen all the advertisements (or our video LOL) by now to know that Universal Studios Singapore is having its annual Halloween Horror Nights. The eighth instalment sees Asian ghosts such as the Pontianak and onyrō meeting the creatures from Stranger Things and more at the theme park in Sentosa. But it’s not as scary as it sounds. OK, we lie—it was pretty terrifying.
So how can a scaredy-cat who actually wants to experience Halloween Horror Nights 8 survive the experience? Here are some tips from a legit scaredy-cat, i.e. me. To put things into context, I watched the first season of Stranger Things on mute because someone told me there were a lot of jump scares and I got scared after the first one. That’s how much of a scaredy-cat I am. So if I can survive this, so can you. Here’s how.
PS: Halloween Horror Nights 8 runs from now to October 31 at Universal Studios Singapore. Tickets are available at S$58 (non-peak) and S$68 (peak) each. Fans can purchase an R.I.P. Tour that includes event admission, a guide who will share insider stories and escort fans to the various experiences, VIP access to haunted houses, private meet-and-greet sessions with creepy characters and more.
