It’s said that Oktoberfest first started in 1810 as a celebratory event marking the marriage of Crown Prince Ludwig to to Princess Therese of Saxony-Hildburghausen, and the citizens of Munich had so much fun partaking in the revelry, which included a feast and a horse race, that the festivities were repeated every year. This event eventually became Oktoberfest, now the world’s largest beer festival. Here are some places in Singapore you can go for bratwurst and booze during this special period.
