Spoiler alert: Fans of Scarlet Heart recently bade a teary goodbye to Wang Eun, played by a member of K-pop group EXO, Baekhyun, who had a dramatic death (excuse us while we cry a river).
Wang Eun may be history (pun fully intended) in the Goryeo dynasty, but how would he fare in our current world? Baekhyun shares his thoughts.
If Wang Eun is someone living in the current world, what do you think will be his occupation? Would Wang Eun be a suitable member of EXO?
That’s a tough question to answer. (Pauses) Wang Eun is not exactly very street smart because he’s living in a very guarded and protected environment. That’s why it’s hard to imagine what he would do. Maybe he’d make a very good kindergarten teacher and he would be very popular amongst the kids! (Laughs)
More from CLEO:
Was it a challenge for you to act in a period drama? On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your performance in the debut?
Many people say that saeguk is challenging before I took the role up, so I thought… if I were to take up this challenge and overcome it, I would be able to do many other things too. (Laughs) As this is my first time acting, I think I have a lot to improve. But I don’t think it’s fair for me to judge my own acting, cos I would become very critical… so maybe a just pass?
When Kang Haneul was in Singapore last month, he mentioned that you are the “happy pill” of the cast. Among IU & the princes, who is your happy pill?
Since Kang Haneul hyung said I am the happy pill, I will say he is our happy pill too. His laughter is contagious. Have you heard it? (Laughs)
Still can’t get over Wang Eun’s exit? Here are a few photos to make you feel better.
