They’ve debuted in Japan
The group released their first Japanese EP in May last year and will be starting their Japanese tour in May this year.
They’re all around the same height
Any EXO fan would know there’s a height disparity among the members. We find it cute that the three of them are of similar heights, standing at an average height of 173cm.
They performed in SMTOWN in Dubai
The trio opened the show with “Hey Mama!” and then followed up with “Ka-CHING!”, much to the rousing applause of concertgoers.
Their Korean subunit is often referred to as Chen-Baek-Xi
This is the combination of the first letter of their name. Fun fact: Chen and Xiumin are not the members’ real names. Chen’s birth name is Kim Jong Dae, while Xiumin’s is Kim Min Seok.
There were teasers about them being a subunit even before they debuted as CBX
During EXO’s third tour, the trio appeared in a video, leading to speculations about them being a subunit.
Their first song wasn’t as EXO-CBX
Instead, they sang the soundtrack of Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, “For You”, as Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin.
They already have awards to their name
EXO may be sweeping awards, and it looks like this subunit might too. Already, they have gotten the Best Asian Style in Japan award from Mnet Asian Music Awards last year and a win on The Show with “Hey Mama!” last year. We wouldn’t be surprised if they continued bagging trophies.
