The charm of a good cook is not limited to women – men who can whip up delish dishes get brownie points from us. And that is why we’re super excited when news broke that Japanese actor Hayami Mocomichi will be coming to Singapore.
Also known as Moco, the 32-year-old actor who is well-known for his roles in dramas such as Gokusen 2 and Absolute Boyfriend, is now the host of cooking show MOCO’s Kitchen. In the show, he shows the audience how to cook various dishes from Japanese to French cuisine, based on viewers’ requests. He’s like Jamie Oliver, but the only difference is that he’s an actor by profession.
Moco will be in Singapore to film an episode of MOCO’s Kitchen, featuring Singapore’s cuisine. We don’t know what dish will make it to the show, but we reckon it’s one of tourists’ faves: chicken rice or chilli crab.
Are you excited yet? We have good and bad news. The good news is, you can have the opportunity to see him up-close at a fan meet! The bad news? It’s a closed door event.
