A first date usually involves a meal or some sort of activity, and we decided to include both in a group date between our CLEO Bachelors and CLEO Bachelor Insiders just so all of them could have, well, the full experience. The venue of choice? Holey Moley, Singapore’s first mini-golf club and bar, so everyone paired up and got ball-sy real quick. Read on to find out how their experience went.
Suffice it to say, we reckon the group date was a success. But did they feel the same way? Scroll the gallery to check out what they thought of the entire experience.
It was an interesting experience and more casual than I thought it’d be, so it was nice that we could just be ourselves. My first impression of Zhi Wei was that she’s very demure, but in playing mini-golf together I discovered she has a competitive streak. It was fun talking to her.
Playing mini-golf and Jenga as a group allowed all of us to interact, and I had a great time. Kayden is a really nice guy.
It was a completely new experience for me as I’ve never tried mini golf, but what I like most about it is that I got to make new friends. Holey Moley is a pretty cool place to start the morning at.
It was really fun. I’ve never tried mini-golf before too but I’m glad I did. Serene did a good job—she was a better player between the both of us.
I didn’t know that there’s a mini-golf club here prior to this! I had a good time—the activities were a good ice-breaker and the music also eliminated any awkward silences. Although she’s quite young, I found Charlotte witty and funny.
It was fun being here, particularly since there were free games, free food and free boys! Ha ha. I think Kai is very eligible—On top of being really nice, he’s also very calm and collected.
I’m usually uncomfortable with talking to strangers but this date was pretty chill and very fun, so it was a lot more enjoyable than I thought it would be. It was a really good first date and I enjoyed getting to know everyone.
It was my first time playing mini-golf and I’ll definitely come back again, whether on a date or with friends. The staff here were really friendly! Jillian is an interesting person and because she’s a bit younger than I am, hanging out with her reminded me of my uni days.
