A day out at the beach is a great idea for a date. A day out at the beach with a bunch of CLEO Bachelors? Even better. Last week, four lucky CLEO Bachelors Insiders got the chance to spend a day out at Ola Beach Club with some of our CLEO Bachelors. Besides getting some sun, sand and sea, they also got to know more about each other and had so much fun.
But more importantly, how did our bachelors and CLEO Bachelors Insiders find the date? Read on to find out more.
“It’s hard to say which part of today was my favourite, because everything was so fun. Hasan is such a gentleman, I didn’t have to lift a finger at all. He was the one pulling the kayak, doing all the heavy lifting and stuff. Because of that, he even injured himself when a wave came and crashed the kayak into his shin. There’s a pretty huge bump and bruise there now. I’m definitely voting for him, because I’m indebted to him now! (laughs)”
“Winky is so lovely and easy to talk to. In fact, we all bonded together as a group pretty quickly. I’m pleasantly surprised by how well everyone got along! I enjoyed the banana boat the most—what an adrenaline rush!”
“The banana boat was intense! This whole date was fun from the start to the end. We’re all so talkative, so we got to know each other pretty quickly and clicked so well. Actually, it was in large part thanks to Farish, because he was asking a lot of questions and breaking the ice within the group.”
“I love socialising, so I really enjoyed this date. You know what, I’m actually really impressed by Yih Xi because I found out that this is her first time out in a while—she had been home studying for the past month or so, which took some serious commitment. She’s so hardworking, so I’m glad she seemed like she really enjoyed herself today. She deserves this!”
“We warmed up to each other pretty quickly, and we talked about a lot of things, including food. It wasn’t awkward at all! I had so much fun—my favourite part was the kayaking. Would I vote for Matt? (teasingly) Hmmmm, I don’t know!”
“I loved it, this is something I wouldn’t normally do so it’s nice to experience all of this at Ola Beach Club. I was soooo impressed by Pei Foong, she really anchored herself on the banana boat while I was flailing about. It was really fun and we enjoyed our time. I think it’s evident—we were the last couple back from kayaking.”

“Everyone’s so extroverted and got along so well, there’s a lot of positive energy here. Plus, I really enjoyed how diverse the group of bachelors are, and their professions are all so varied. I feel like it’s quite reflective of what Singapore is like. I also like how they’re not just good-looking, but have great personalities as well.”
