In case you’re wondering why Bella Hadid is trending, it’s because she has just been dubbed as the most beautiful woman in the world—thanks to a mathematical equation.

A doctor who used the “Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi Standards” said she has a face that’s 94.35 per cent perfect.

The “Golden Ratio” is a calculation method used in ancient Greece where facial proportions are measured based on the standards of physical perfection that Greek scholars applied.

The doctor, Dr Julian De Silva, is a facial cosmetic surgeon who runs the Centre for Advanced Facial Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery in London.

Harper’s Bazaar quoted him to say Bella “was the clear winner when all elements of the face were measured for physical perfection”.

“She had the highest overall reading for her chin which, with a score of 99.7 per cent, is only 0.3 per cent away from being the perfect shape.”

In case you’re wondering, she ranked the lowest for brow area, coming in at only 88% of perfection.

Wondering why he even did the test? It’s because he would be using the Golden Ratio as well as modern computerised mapping techniques to plan his patients’ surgery.

He also measure other celebrities’ faces using the Golden Ratio.
