Angelababy has much to celebrate about this month, and we’re not just talking about the New Year or the upcoming Lunar New Year. The actress and husband Huang Xiaoming just welcomed a baby boy.
The couple, who got married in a US$31 million-dollar wedding two years ago, first hinted at Angelababy’s pregnancy through Xiaoming’s cryptic Weibo post in October. He posted a photo of them on a yacht with the caption, “Holiday for three,” and many took this as a confirmation that the couple was expecting an addition to the family following rumours of the actress’ pregnancy.
Angelababy had left a comment on the same photo, teasing fans with a message to her husband, “Congratulations to you!”
The Straits Times reported that the actor’s management had posted a message on his official weibo page to confirm that couple just welcomed a son. It said, “We want to share with you a happy moment: This morning, Angelababy gave birth to a son naturally, accompanied by Huang Xiaoming and family. The AH couple have a beautiful continuation of love. Henceforth, they are 1 + 1 = 3, which is probably what happiness looks like.”
The same article reported that Angelababy had checked into hospital on Monday to choose a date for a caesarean delivery, but the actress went into labour early.
Earlier this afternoon, Xiaoming posted a photo of the baby’s hand and announced that both mother and child are well.
