Think the best speech this year was from the Grammys? Well, Big Bang’s Seungri just upped the game last night at the Gaon Chart K-pop Awards.

The youngest member of the K-pop boyband accepted the trophy on behalf of YG Entertainment’s CEO, Yang Hyun Suk, who won the Producer of the Year award.

Goaded by the emcee who asked him to perform his famous impersonation of his boss, Seungri took the mic and pretended to be Yang Hyun Suk while delivering his thank-you speech – though he wasn’t even appointed to accept the award on behalf of the CEO. His impersonation had everyone in stitches, including the members of Big Bang and iKON who were also on stage.

He said, “Actually, I haven’t done anything. The staff made the meal and I put it in a bowl – did I say bowl? I put it on a small spoon. Thank you for giving me such a big award. I will continue to make Hallyu more popular.”

He ended with a punchline in Yang Hyun Suk’s speech style: “Jiyong (G-Dragon’s real name), you should say something.”
