Whether you know him as Big Bang’s T.O.P, Choi Seunghyun or #choi_seung_hyun_tttop, you gotta admit that this multi-hyphenate is a man of many talents.

Not only is he a skilled rapper who rose from the underground rap scene to become one of Korea’s most popular performers, he is also known for his acting chops, having acted in blockbusters both on the silver and small screens.

And let’s not forget his talent in songwriting. Just when you thought the Big Bang’s member’s list of abilities stopped there, he surprised by announcing that he would be curating for Sotheby’s.

The singer-actor is known to be an avid art collector (his Instagram feed has more photos of artworks than selfies), so the announcement shouldn’t come as a surprise, but we’re no less impressed.

The collaboration, or “sale title” as Sotheby’s called it, #TTTOP, is derived from his Instagram handle. In an interview with Sotheby’s, T.O.P revealed that his interest in art stemmed from his upbringing. “All the women in my family, including my mother, majored in art. They were all either artists or art teachers. The Korean modern masters Kim Whanki and Lee Insung are both my blood relatives,” he said.

He also likened finding a great artwork to meeting one’s soulmate. He said, “Once a piece enters my life, we become lifelong companions destined to love each other.”

If you’re hoping he’d upload photos of his girlfriend like he does of art pieces, don’t get your hopes high because he revealed in a previous interview with High Cut magazine that he wants to date, but wouldn’t want his relationship to go public.
